About

Have you ever thought God far away? Jesus on the cross, dead and gone? I did. Until the Word lit, and this hit: "He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, who believed in His name, to them He gave the right to become children of God." And I was never alone...again.

Studying scripture can cause a sequoia of questions. Pulling verses apart, I try putting God in order. Lo and behold...He restores my soul. Like seedlings into saplings into fruit bearing trees, the everlivin' word transforms us into the likeness of His everlovin' Son.

Growing up between corn fields and dirt roads has blessed me with an eye for the outdoors. Bullfrogs on the bank, buckeye butterflies, and honeybees. Sunflowers, spear thistle, and beavers along the creek. Ducks on the pond—hawks overhead. Perfuming lilacs and mulberry trees turning fingers red. "Since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made." – Romans 1:20

The breathtaking beauty of what has been made utters the Breath of Life.

Glad you're here. Let's open the front door and breathe in the fresh air of God's extravagant love, stilling peace, and stunning grace.

Make yourself at home. Take a bit of solace from a blog post. Enjoy the view. Maybe some poetry for you? Stay as long as you like—you are welcome here.
